Support Ayman's Journey from Gaza to Safety and Education

Donation protected
Hello! I'm Vivian, I'm in San Francisco, California and I'm fundraising for Ayman Al-Najjar who is currently with his family in Gaza. He is in dire need of funds for daily necessities, food, supplies for the rainy winter months, and is also saving to evacuate from Gaza when the border reopens.

This campaign has been verified through multiple channels by Project Love Brocade on Instagram which was founded by Palestinian poet and therapist Maria Fakhouri and run by therapist and activist Angeline Aggeliki.

WHO IS AYMAN?

Ayman is 28 years old and has 2 bachelors degrees and was in the middle of his graduate studies when the war began. In the 11 months since, his home has been destroyed by bombing and he has been displaced multiple times. He currently lives with his family in a makeshift tent.

IMMEDIATE NEEDS:
The approaching winter months mean each day is colder and rainier - Ayman's makeshift shelter has already flooded once and lack of food remains a daily struggle.

We are raising $25,000 which will go to urgent needs:
$1,500 - food, water, medical testing, medical care, daily necessities
$1,000 - supplies to prepare his family's tent for the winter and rain and protect from additional flooding

Additional funds go to evacuation for his parents and sister when the border reopens:
$7,500 - evacuation for his father, Youssef Al-Najjar (age 65)
$7,500 - evacuation for his mother Nazmiya Al-Najjar (age 63)
$7,500 - evacuation for his sister Ruba Al-Najjar (age 20)

AYMAN'S DREAM: A FUTURE IN CANADA
Ayman is seeking funds to evacuate with his family, obtain a Canadian visa and complete his graduate studies abroad.
From there, he can help his family from afar and work towards their evacuation as well.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS ARE LIFE-SAVING IN SO MANY WAYS:
Despite the daily suffering, terror, uncertainty, and depression, Ayman continues to use his first aid skills to comfort and help the wounded. He has provided life-saving aid to members of his community while waiting for paramedics/ambulances to arrive.

He also cares for two other families that neighbor him.

Ayman has a big heart and continues to think about others and care for others despite having so much taken away from him. Let's give back to him and help him achieve his dreams, bringing him and his family to safety, and completing his graduate studies.

WAS THERE A DIFFERENT CAMPAIGN FOR AYMAN?
In a previous (now deactivated) fundraiser, we raised $17,000 for Ayman which went to:
$7,500 - savings for his evacuation
$3,000 - Canadian visa program
$3,000 - medical treatment and tests for him and neighbors
$1,000 - evacuation costs/displacement within Gaza
$2,500 - and daily necessities such as food and supplies for his family and the two families he also cares for.
This new campaign has been made to reflect current urgent needs funds and to ensure funds will be more quickly accessible to Ayman.

No amount is too small! We are grateful for every comment, share, and donation.

Funds will be collected into Vivian's US based bank account and then sent to Ayman via Paypal or Western Union.
