I'm Vivian, I'm in San Francisco, California and I'm fundraising for Ayman Al-Najjar who is currently with his family in Gaza. <strong>He is in dire need of funds for daily necessities, food, supplies for the rainy winter months</strong>, and is also saving to evacuate from Gaza when the border reopens.

<div><strong>WHO IS AYMAN?</strong>

<div>Ayman is 30 years old and has 2 bachelors degrees and was in the middle of his graduate studies when the war began. In the 11 months since, his home has been destroyed by bombing and he has been displaced multiple times. He currently lives with his family in a makeshift tent.

<div><strong>IMMEDIATE NEEDS:</strong>

<div>The approaching winter months mean each day is colder and rainier - <strong>Ayman's makeshift shelter has already flooded once and lack of food remains a daily struggle.</strong>

<div>“My name is Ayman, and I am from Gaza.

<div>I never imagined that I would have to ask strangers for help simply to afford basic necessities and protect my family. But after everything we have lived through, I have reached a point where I can no longer manage everything on my own.

</div>
<div>My home was destroyed, and like many families in Gaza, we have faced displacement, uncertainty, and an extremely difficult daily reality. I have tried to keep going and build a future despite these circumstances, but I currently have no stable source of income.
</div>

<div>Today, my situation is even more urgent. I am married, and my wife is pregnant with our first child. We are trying to prepare for the arrival of our baby while struggling to cover basic living expenses, food, medical and pregnancy-related needs, and other essential costs.
</div>

<div>I am also carrying approximately $2,700 in debt. I do not want this debt to become an even greater burden on our small family, especially at a time when my wife needs proper care and we are preparing to welcome our first child.
</div>

<div>I am not asking for luxury or anything beyond what we need. I am asking for a chance to get through this difficult period safely, support my wife during her pregnancy, prepare for our baby, and gradually recover financially.

<div><strong>Ayman is seeking funds to evacuate with his family, obtain a Canadian visa and complete his graduate studies abroad.</strong>

<div>From there, he can help his family from afar and work towards their evacuation as well.

<div><strong>WAS THERE A DIFFERENT CAMPAIGN FOR AYMAN?</strong>

<div>In a previous (now deactivated) fundraiser, we raised $17,000 for Ayman which went to:

<div>$7,500 - savings for his evacuation
</div>
<div>$3,000 - Canadian visa program
</div>
<div>$3,000 - medical treatment and tests for him and neighbors
</div>
<div>$1,000 - evacuation costs/displacement within Gaza
</div>
<div>$2,500 - and daily necessities such as food and supplies for his family and the two families he also cares for.
</div>
<div><strong>This new campaign has been made to reflect current urgent needs funds and to ensure funds will be more quickly accessible to Ayman.</strong>
