Support Ayesha's Son King for summer camp!

- My name is Ayesha. I am a single mother of a 13-year-old boy living with ADHD, and has recently been diagnosed with clinical depression because of the recent lost his father in December. I don’t qualify for any government assistance to help with any activities, summer camp, and tuition fees school for my son. I try my best and work 40 hours a week to support my son and I. All I am asking for is assistance to help my son stay active at this crucial stage in his life! We are both in counseling for grief and trauma! He and his father were extremely close and he has been active in his life since the day he was born. This has been a traumatic event to us both!I am not trying to get a come up or payday from anyone! I am simply asking for support for my son. I would like to send him to a summer camp while I work. However by him being 13, POC (which is sate assistance for child care) he doesn’t qualify for the program. The YMCA summer camp, which is close to my work is $400 a week and $305 a week for members of the Center. It’s a bit pricey, however it’s a great program. I really don’t think it is a good idea to leave him home alone during the work day! I believe that if he is engaged in positive activities, in a safe environment, would make a positive impact during this fickle process in his life! I really don’t like to ask for handouts! I’m asking for help! All contributions will not go into a personal account for me to spend to my choosing, but will be dispersed to the programs that King will be enrolled in!
