Hello everyone,
My name is Ava Colombai and I am a junior at Victor Senior High School. I am raising $3,200 to support my participation in a medical academy volunteer trip to Panama, where I will have the opportunity to serve underserved communities.
I have a strong interest in pursuing a college education in the healthcare field because it allows me to combine my passion for science with a genuine desire to help others. I am inspired by the meaningful impact healthcare professionals have on individuals and communities in need.
This trip is part of an organized medical academy program that allows students to work alongside trained professionals assisting with community clinics, patient intake, health education, and basic medical support. Through this experience, I will gain valuable insight into how healthcare is delivered in low-resource settings and develop a deeper understanding of compassionate, service-based medicine.
The $3,200 raised will help cover:
• Medical academy program fees
• Travel and lodging
• Medical supplies and clinic materials
• Meals, transportation, and safety-related expenses
I am working hard to raise funds on my own, but I need help to make this opportunity possible. Any donation—no matter the size—will directly support this volunteer mission. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is greatly appreciated. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and appreciate every person who helps make it possible.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and belief in my journey.
With gratitude,
Ava Colombai
