Help Me Bring Clean Energy to the Philippines!

Hi, I’m Ava, a high school junior, and my Father and I raising money for an amazing opportunity to travel to the Philippines in February 2025 with GivePower’s Legacy Trek. We’ll be working to install solar-powered systems at a local high school in San Fernando, Palawan, Philippines. Currently, they don't have access to reliable electricity. This clean energy will make a huge difference by providing power for schools, healthcare, and even helping families with basic needs like lighting and communication.

This trip is extra meaningful to me because I’m 1/4 Filipino, and I’ve always felt a close connection to my Filipino heritage. Both my mom and stepmom are Filipino, so being able to give back to the people in the Philippines feels like a way to honor my roots and make a real impact.

I need to raise $11,000 to make this trip possible, and I’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help me reach my goal and allow me to be part of something that will change lives—including my own. This experience will also be a huge part of my college applications, showing my commitment to community service and global issues.
