Support Austin's Friend in Getting a New Motorcycle

Hello, my name is Austin.

On Oct. 17th, my best friend bought his first motorcycle. We trailered it to my house to get it ready to be inspected so he could put insurance on it. Once the bike was all ready to go, I took it on a test drive.

During this test drive, I stopped the bike to let him catch up on the four-wheeler so he could watch it (he did not have his permit yet, which is why he wasn’t riding it). After two small revs of the engine, it burst into flames. I was able to escape the roaring flames with only some singed arm hair, thankfully. I ran to my machine shed in search of a fire extinguisher as my friend called 911. Unfortunately, the bike is a total loss and never had insurance set up yet.

I’m hoping to get some money for him so he can still buy a motorcycle, which is his dream. Thank you for reading.
