Hi, my name is Amelia Baker, and I am a women’s ranch bronc rider from Australia.
Last year, I qualified to represent Australia at the WRBC (Women’s Ranch Bronc Championships) World Finals at Cheyenne Frontier Days. This year, I not only qualified again, but was also crowned the 2026 WRBC Australian Champion. I now have the opportunity to go back to America and represent Australia at the World Finals as a 2x World Finalist.
Ranch bronc riding has become a huge part of my life. It has taken a lot of hard work, travel, determination, and support to get to this point, and I am so grateful for the chance to compete on an international stage again.
The World Finals will be held at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming, from the 18th to the 19th of July. I am fundraising to help cover the costs of travelling, competing, and representing Australia on the world stage.
Travelling from Australia to America for the World Finals comes with a lot of costs, including flights, accommodation, food, transport, insurance, entry fees, and other travel expenses. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help take some of the pressure off this trip and to give people the opportunity to support my campaign.
For anyone who would like to sponsor a specific part of my trip, here is an estimated breakdown of the main costs involved in travelling to America for 14 days:

- Food ($100/day): $1,400
- Car hire/fuel: $2,000
- Travel & competition insurance: $1,000
- Entry fees: $600
- Consumables: $100
- Embroidery: $200
