This is Auri, Layla’s babysitter. My worst fear when looking for a babysitter was leaving my child with a stranger, not knowing in whose hands my baby would be. But Auri automatically earned my trust. Layla and all the other children absolutely love her. She loves children and was given the gift to serve and care for others. She also takes care of her husband. He had leukemia a couple of years ago, which has led to many other prolonged health issues. Unfortunately, Auri is leaving to her country for good. She has a critically ill son who she has not seen for years. He has liver failure and although the doctors have tried everything, things are not looking promising for him. Auri wants to spend the last moments with him, caring for him. Despite all her trials and tribulations, she has a positive outlook and a grateful heart. Her faith has kept her pushing forward.

She lives paycheck to paycheck. She sends her earnings to her children in Honduras. She has sacrificed it all. She is collecting used clothes and items so she can sell and make a living in her country. She is starting from zero. But I think she can benefit from a bigger blessing and I am asking for your help to do so. A little goes a long way!

Ella es Auri, la niñera de Layla. Mi mayor miedo al buscar una niñera era dejar a mi hija con una desconocida, sin saber en manos de quién estaría. Pero Auri se ganó mi confianza de inmediato. Layla y todos los demás niños la adoran. Ama a los niños y tiene el don de servir y cuidar a los demás. También cuida de su esposo. Tuvo leucemia hace un par de años, lo que le ha provocado muchos otros problemas de salud prolongados. Desafortunadamente, Auri se va a su país para siempre. Tiene un hijo gravemente enfermo al que no ha visto en años. Tiene insuficiencia hepática y, aunque los médicos lo han intentado todo, las cosas no pintan bien. Auri quiere pasar sus últimos momentos con él, cuidándolo. A pesar de todas sus dificultades, tiene una actitud positiva y un corazón agradecido. Su fe la ha impulsado a seguir adelante.

Auri vive al día. Envía sus ingresos a sus hijos en Honduras. Lo ha sacrificado todo como madre fuerte y amorosa. Ella está recolectando ropa y artículos usados para venderlos y ganarse la vida en su país. Está empezando desde cero. Pero creo que puede beneficiarse de una bendición mayor y para eso les pido de su ayuda. ¡Con poco se puede lograr mucho!
