Aurilio has been homeless for over 14 years. The only things he owns are the clothes on his back and his cart. He sleeps in doorways and alleys, facing the elements every day and night. Despite these hardships, Aurilio always has a smile on his face, and is a beloved member of the Avondale and Logan Square communities. His resilience and kindness have touched many people, and he is known for his positive spirit even in the toughest times.

Right now, Aurilio needs our help more than ever. The funds raised will go directly toward providing him with food, clothing, and much-needed medical care. While we don't know the full extent of his medical ailments, Aurilio is 65 years old and he moves slowly, has difficulty picking up objects, shakes, and has discussed having pain. He urgently needs to see a doctor. We also hope to secure safe shelter for him, especially after he endured sleeping outside all winter.
