Star Party Fundraisers will be held at the Polk Township North Field on June 10th and 24 th starting with a Solar Presentation at 4:00 p.m., and June 16th and 29th for evening viewing starting at 8:30 p.m.

Hello, my name is Claudio Thomas Stabile and I am a Life Scout with Troop 102 in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.

I am excited to share with you a service project that is deeply important to me, as I work towards my Eagle rank. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am building an Astronomy Observatory at the Polk Township North Field with Polk Township as the Project Beneficiary.

Once built, I will hold regular Public Astronomy Events throughout the year benefiting residents and visitors of Polk Township.

I am hoping to raise $3,000 to help fund a storage shed, solar panels, batteries, inverters, shelving units and lumber for the base.
