Support Astrid's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Chantal, and I am raising money to help my older sister financially. My sister, Astrid, is a single mother of two, and has been struggling for the past 3+ years. Long story short, she has had to live in a hotel, changing to different ones every few months, and paying daily ranging from $80-$100.

About a year and a half ago, Astrid came to me for financial assistance. I am still helping her to this day, but the money that I have been using to help her has almost been depleted. The money I used was for emergencies (such as this) and because she is constantly low on money because of other expenses such as food, phone service, and childcare expenses, I have practically taken over her daily rent expense.

Recently, after going from hotel to hotel, Astrid and her kids have settled in to a Airbnb. The problem is the cost to stay at the place is also daily and is about $100 per day. She is basically in the same situation as she was with the hotels.

One of the main reasons I'm doing this is not for Astrid, but for her two daughters. Kabrina, the oldest of the two girls( just turned 20), uses her money from her job to help her mother with the expenses, and yet is still not enough. Selena, who is only 3, is just a toddler and her mother and older sister are trying their best to take care of her.

If I can't help them financially, eventually Astrid will have no choice but live in a homeless shelter or live in her car ( both unsuitable choices for a small child to live under).

I want to continue to help them. I hope that by raising a significant amount of funds for them, they can start saving their own money and find a new place to live that won't charge them on the daily. Any contribution will help and be surely be appreciated. Thank you.
