Support Aspen's Fight for Health and Hope

My name's Amanda. Jessica and Austin are my second family. They have been in and out of hospitals since Jessica was pregnant with Aspen. Aspen came into this world fighting, and she continues to fight every single day. She has been hospitalized over 10 times in her 2 short years of life.

Aspen is currently fighting multiple infections in her body, with ongoing tests to get a diagnosis and find out what is causing her to get so sick every time she gets sick. TNC normal range is 200; she's in the 7,000s. They’re treating her for tons of infections in her body. Luckily, she is now home as she is not contagious. But behind the scenes, I see how hard this is for Aspen's family. There are follow-up appointments here and in Marshfield. It’s taken a huge toll on Aspen's older siblings. Financially, between gas and medical expenses for Aspen's care, it’s becoming super stressful for the family. I know Jess and Austin would never ask for help but would be the first people to give the shirt off their back. Aspen goes above and beyond to try to help other people, bringing items to the Ronald McDonald House. Always willing to help others, only at age 2. Anything would help, prayers especially for a treatable diagnosis for this sweet little girl.
