"My name is Asmahan and I'm 29 years old. I have 3 children and now I'm 6 months pregnant.
I was living a wonderful and quiet life among my family in G@za. I had a beautiful house and I was completing my studies. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, everything ended and I had to run away and save my children to Jordan.
I lost everything.
When I arrived in Jordan a month later, I received the news of the martyrdom of my brother, who was my life, and my uncle, who was my friend, it was a great shock and it was difficult to start again.
With the passage of the war, I was living with great anxiety for my family.
And then I received the news of the martyrdom of my aunt, my mother's brother. I deleted 20 people under rescue from the civil registry.
And I lost them and lost everything beautiful.
And 4 months ago I received news of my father's death.
He was my support and the support of my children. This broke my heart. My father was everything to us, and now the rest of my family is seriously threatened.
I'm here suffering from the bitterness of life. I had my own project online to sell abayas, but everything is destroyed.
I ask you to help me for my children and my family."
Asmahan and her family need our support; they need to pay for a hospital bed for when the baby arrives, for school and nursery fees, for their daily expenses (food, rent, etc), and the debt which they took on to pay for funiture when they were first displaced. They will also need support to return and rebuild their home when it is safe to do so.
As Asmahan's pregnancy progresses, the anxiety which comes from living so precariously brings greater risk to her and her baby's health.
Please donate what you can, every amount, no matter how small, makes a difference.
