Asli Yilmaz is one of the strongest people I know. She’s a loving single mother doing everything she can to provide for her 7-year-old child. After immigrating to the U.S., she learned that she must return to school to requalify for the career she once had in her home country.

Until she can do that, Asli has been working tirelessly delivering food to make ends meet and keep a roof over their heads. Her child has a medical condition that requires frequent hospital visits and ongoing care. Between medical expenses, transportation, and time away from work, it’s become incredibly difficult to stay financially stable.

Asli never complains, but the truth is that she’s exhausted and struggling. This fundraiser is to help her stay afloat — to cover rent, groceries, school expenses, and her child’s medical costs while she works toward building a better future for them both.
