My name is Ash, and I'm a resident of Salem, Oregon. Recently, I purchased a house, and unfortunately though my inspection report said the plumbing was "SATISFACTORY" it has failed twice now within about a month of owning the home.
My first bill of $27,500 to replace the pipes, water heater, and other water accessories was successfully financed on my own credit, and I will be paying that off over the next ten years.
The second incident, which happened on my birthday of course, is going to be another $18,000 and my credit is not as good as it was 6 months ago.
I have a stable union job working to support my local Oregonians but I need to have a place to live. I've been working overtime to help Oregon Health Authority reallocate lost federal funding. Until this home, I had no debts and excellent credit. Now I don't even have a bathroom.
The previous tenants apparently did as much damage as they could on the way out and now I am paying the price. Current image is from Google Maps.
Any help is welcome.
