On April 1st, 2026, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A house fire destroyed the home of my cousin, Ashley, and her family. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost nearly everything—clothing, personal belongings, and the place they called home.

Tragically, they also lost their beloved family dog and bird in the fire. Two of their kittens were able to be rescued and are currently at the veterinary hospital receiving care. While we are incredibly grateful they survived, the emergency veterinary treatment is adding significant, unexpected costs during an already overwhelming time

Right now, they are facing the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. We’re raising funds to help cover immediate needs like temporary housing, food, clothing, and basic essentials.
