Hi, our names are Ashley and Amber. We started the Farmers Market here in Byron in June of this year. We are looking to expand the market and add more activities to be present for the whole family each week. Our biggest goal is to add a band every Saturday, which gets very expensive very quickly. We are not currently funded by any outside sources through the city or state. We have been relying solely on the support from local businesses.

In order to apply for grants from the state next year, we have to file for a nonprofit corporation status, which will cost us $500-$1000.

We are reaching out to our community in hopes of gaining support in reaching our goal to cover the expenses needed to gain nonprofit status. This will allow us to create something special and unique for our community and we hope you all are just as much excited about it as we are!
