We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult time to ask for support for my sister, Arya Whitelow. Arya is currently pregnant and preparing to welcome her baby into the world, but her journey has been deeply impacted by a heartbreaking tragedy. Her fiancé, Telonn — also known as Rose Lonny — was a true hero. He was tragically taken from her in a senseless act of violence while protecting children. His bravery and selflessness will never be forgotten. This loss has left Arya grieving while also facing the overwhelming responsibility of preparing for motherhood on her own.

On top of this unimaginable loss, Arya’s pregnancy has been especially difficult. She has been sick for the entirety of her pregnancy, making it even harder for her to manage day-to-day responsibilities, maintain stability, and prepare for her baby’s arrival. As she navigates grief, illness, and the challenges of pregnancy, Arya is doing her best to stay strong for her unborn child. However, the emotional, physical, and financial strain has made it incredibly difficult to secure the essentials needed during this time.

We are asking for any support you can give to help Arya: prepare for her baby with necessary items like clothing, diapers, and supplies; maintain stable housing and basic living needs; and focus on healing while honoring the memory of Telenn.
