Help replace AGHS JV softball team's stolen gear!

Donation protected

I'm an alumni of Arroyo Grande High School. I've got kids that attend right now, and I know a lot of other families who have kids who are Eagles. I've also known Jimmy Vargas, the JV girls' softball coach, for 30 years. He gives so much to the community and loves to be with his team. He and his family have poured hours into the girls that he coaches.

On March 28th, Jimmy posted on Facebook that he had gone to the school early to prep for an away game that afternoon, only to discover that the team shed had been broken into and a lot of the girls' gear had been stolen. Bats, gloves, and bags were gone. A lot of the girls keep their bags in there, and it has all of their gear.

Despite the terrible news, the girls held their heads high and played with borrowed equipment that afternoon and came away with a win.

So this is what I'm asking: please share and donate if you can. I'd love to see these girls blessed by the community around them and feel loved and cared for. I want for them to share with their grandchildren about how their gear was stolen, but the town rallied around them and got them even better gear.

They are playing right now with borrowed gear and they have their whole season ahead of them. Let's take care of them and show Eagle Pride.
