My friend, Arline, is probably the single greatest person I know. Everyone who knows her loves her.

If you don’t know the story, in May, Arline was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Her journey has been long and arduous. She and Talon, her wife, have spent the last few months living their best lives together.

Arline is preparing for her next great adventure…. We have enlisted the help of Helios Care, and all of the hospice people we have met are amazing, caring people.

There are many things that Arline needs. Hospice covers medicines and medical devices, but there are many costs that are not covered. Due to not being able to work, her insurance has been canceled. We are working diligently to get her added on Medicare supplements, but that is taking too much time. Her insulin alone is 400 dollars every month. There are personal items for her health maintenance that are needed that are not covered….
