Support Arin and Chris: Rebuild After Financial Loss

Hi! My name is Leah and I am Arin’s big sister although, she’ll tell you I act more like a mom. I’m fortunate enough to say that we are very close and can rely on each other for anything. Which is why I’m here making this fundraiser. Arin didn’t ask me to do this but she and her family deserve help. I know that we’ve built a strong community around us and I believe we can come together to help them.

Arin was attacked by a scammer who stole her information and all of her money. They depleted everything she had and ran up her credit card. Due to the nature of the scam attack, the bank and police have said there isn’t much that can be done to recover what they lost. Needless to say, Arin and Chris are devastated. That money was necessary to pay bills, take care of their family (them and their three boys) plus help them to finally start planning a wedding. They recently had a baby in October and funds were already tight as they adjusted to new baby expenses like formula, doctors appointments, daycare etc. so to have what little nest egg they had taken away has been like a gut punch. The last thing I want is my sister and Chris to worry about putting food on the table or keeping the roof over their heads.

My family and I are asking for $6500, with a starting goal of $3000, to help them build back some of what was lost. This money will go towards their monthly expenses like groceries and bills. Our goal is to help bring them some relief while they figure out how to handle this loss moving forward.
