Support Ariana's Brave Battle with Leukemia

Meet Ariana. A beautiful, sassy 4 year old.

She was diagnosed with High risk Acute lymphoblastic leukemia on February 15, 2024.

I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Ariana, she is our family’s strongest little fighter.

From her mom Cynthia:

”Ariana is 4 years old. She is pure love, and has proven to be a true fighter. The love she has for life can be seen in the way she tries so hard to do everything any child can do as she was born with an extra chromosome. She has 3 copies of chromosome 21. Ariana has Down Syndrome. Children with Down Syndrome suffer from many health issues, and at just seven months old, Ariana suffered her first major health issue. She was born with a hole in her heart that required her to go through open heart surgery. She left the hospital after just 7 days, completed her therapies, learned to sit, crawl and walk.

We thought that was the hardest thing we would face with Ariana, but unfortunately, it was not.

The day after Valentine’s Day, on February 15, 2024 everything changed.

She ran a fever, had strange nose bleeds, and severe bone pain.

We rushed her to Cook Children’s ER, and after testing and imaging we hear the sentence that no parent should ever hear about their child.

The word you NEVER think would happen to you. CANCER. They informed us Ariana was diagnosed with High-Risk Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

To say we are devastated would be an understatement. She has started to receive chemotherapy, and had to be admitted for a month.

She was unable to walk for two weeks due to severe pain.

Her beautiful hair and eyelashes, completely gone.

Despite everything she has endured, she goes through her treatments with a smile so contagious you can’t help but smile back.

Our sweet baby girl will have to receive treatment for the next 2 1/2 years.

Having Down syndrome puts Ariana at greater risk of having complications, therefore she has to be closely monitored at the hospital and is often admitted for long periods of time.

How we wish we wouldn’t be in this situation, and don’t like asking for anything, but this would greatly help with Ariana’s immediate needs and family.

We just want our baby girl to be cancer free.”

No child deserves to go through cancer, and we see the struggles Ariana faces everyday as she fights this horrible disease.
