In May, the Soar family received the devastating news that their two-year-old boy Archer has been diagnosed with leukaemia. Since then, Archer has been receiving intensive treatment and is fighting like an absolute champion.

The Soar family—including Archer’s parents, Liam and Steph, his grandma Jan, late grandpa Geoff and uncle Jordan and Alex—have been a beloved part of the Uraidla Districts Football Club community for decades. Now, some of their closest friends at the club are rallying to help support them through this incredibly difficult time.

Archer’s fight will be a long and challenging journey. He has already been undergoing intensive treatment for nearly two months, and the road ahead is expected to continue for a number of years. The emotional and financial strain on the family is significant.
