Hi family and friends, my name is Bre and my mom's name is April. She is only 57 and has cancer in her intestine. We found out Christmas 2023 and she was hospitalized for 2 months. It has been a long journey and we still have a long road ahead of us.

She has gone through bypass surgery so she could eat again. Then got jaundice because the tumor was pushing against her bile duct and couldnt function properly. So another surgery to get a stint inserted to push tumor out the way that didn't work. So once again another surgery to get a billiary bag inserted. She went through five chemo sessions, every two weeks plus hydrations 2 a week because she wasnt eating enough. The Chemotherapy have been very hard on her body because she was weak and couldn't eat or keep anything down.To fast forward to now she has been in the hospital this time for 4 weeks and now is in a rehab facility so she can walk again.

We have decided to end the chemo at this time because it is killing her. She now has congestive heart failure and had a blood transfusion a week ago. She's tired and is fighting hard to overcome this. So, we have decided chemo is not for her and want to try to beat this naturally. It's a facility in San Francisco where she will be under a doctor's care. This amount will cover all medical expenses for 3 weeks.
