Hello, my name is Christine Watts and I have been given permission to set this up on behalf of little April and the McPeak family.

The family has just experienced a horrific tragedy that no one should ever have to go through, especially a 10 year old child. April Rayne McPeak had to run for her life and hide with her mother from an abusive boyfriend who was threatening to kill them both and ultimately shot and killed her mother. April is the one who called for help.

Little April is blessed to have a family and friends full of love and support, and with their and your help, she can overcome this tragedy. There will be therapy, huge changes in her life, and obstacles ahead, but with faith and your support, this family can rise above. We are asking that you help little April and the family first and foremost by your prayers. They are confident in knowing that they will see Ashlee again and that God fulfills his promises.
