April lost her mom Cathy on November 7th. As her in home care giver and her daughter this loss is profound and will be a huge time of transition for her. She will only be allowed 3 days paid bereavement and with everything that needs taking care of there will potential loss of wages while making sure her mental and physical health is taken care of.

She will also be planning her mom’s final wishes of being cremated. Her mother is an organ donor and is currently with the organization Onelegacy where she is donating her corneas to give someone the gift of site and tissue for burn victims. From there, she will be carrying out her final wishes of cremation where her ashes will be split between April and Adam.
