Hello everyone, I thank you for visiting and looking at my gofundme I've created for my younger brother Anuj "AJ" Kishor . Long story short, my name is Anoop and I'm here to get some assistance getting my loving soul of a brother back on his feet. My brother Anuj has struggled with addiction for over a decade. He started with Adderall, then cocaine and finally Meth... I'm here because we all can relate to someone who has addictions, myself included. But here's the silver lining, in helping my brother getting on his feet he helped me to be a better big brother and helped me realize something we all could use in our own lives. He's absolutely frustrating at times because he has zero survival skills and gives away almost every resource be it food, money or items to others in need. He lived out of his car being homeless for over 6 months while he struggled with his addictions. Finally one day with the help of the Universe and an adorable little puppy, which my brother loves animals more than people. The puppy gave him the strength to go to rehab. He's now completed a 90 day rehab program and is living in an "SLE" Sober living environment for over a month. As a brother I'm very proud of him as he's now attending AA and NA (Narcotics anonymous) meetings as well as helping others in the community through Church programs and other fellow people from rehab. He had applied for jobs and was accepted as a therapist aide at a local hospital. This gofundme is to get his 2014 Honda accord which he lived out of for 6+months up and running again. It's been parked in front of my mom's place for going on 5 months now and it needs to be towed to an mechanic for new tires, new battery and tune up as it has over 200K miles. It also needs a thorough interior cleaning as it has mold in it from when he lived out of his car then it sat unused for months. I would like to surprise him with his car running and cleaned so he can go to work and meetings without begging family and friend for a ride. Though frustrating to get him to help himself, I've learned and appreciated that he is such a simple person that will not only give you the shirt off his back but if he has $3 to his name and finds a person in need. Anuj will give that person his last $3 dollars and borrow $2 from me so then he can give the other person $5 and feel good about himself. I've never met a soul so giving, and I need help giving a reliable ride to a most deserving spirit like my brother Anuj. Again I thank you for your help. God bless
