On Saturday, October 3, 2026, our lives changed in an instant. While coming home to visit family, my brother, Antonio Maldonado Mendoza, was involved in a severe accident that caused a critical head injury. Antonio is currently unresponsive and fighting for his life in the hospital.

Antonio is a remarkable person and a man of God. Anyone who knows him sees his heart of gold, his character, and the way he brings knowledge and value to the people around him. He had just earned his first job as a groundman contracted through Wasatch Electric, LLC, currently stationed in Reno, NV, while working toward his dream of becoming a Journeyman Lineman. That opportunity meant so much because it reflected the hard work, discipline, and future he was building for himself.

Right now, the reality is that Antonio cannot work and is facing a long and uncertain recovery. This fundraiser is meant to help in a practical and thoughtful way by covering medical bills, personal expenses, and essential living costs while he recovers. Our goal is to ease the immediate financial pressure so Antonio has a stronger foundation for the road ahead and the support he needs to get back on his feet so he can continue his journey to become who he is meant to be.
