Support Antonia and Pedro Ramos After Fire Loss
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
Thank you in advance for your interest in our story.
It is possible that you may know me or one of my family members; however, if you don't, I would like to share a little about us and the current circumstance.
On Thursday, January 23 (approximately at 4:00 am), my parents' duplex property located at 930 W. Birch caught on fire. Though the cause is still being investigated, the reality is that there are no homes to return to, no insurance to cover the damages and all that is left is what the 9 family members were wearing before the house was engulfed by flames. By God's grace, everyone made it out unharmed, including pets. For this, I am grateful.
My mother, Antonia, and father, Pedro, have always been the ones to take the coat off their back and help anyone that walks through their door, no matter what their situation may be. I have seen them give to their family unconditionally and others alike my whole life, and today the tables have turned, and we are the ones that need the support of family, friends, and anyone with the opportunity to give.
My expectations for the support provided is not to rebuild an entire home or eliminate all responsibility for all involved but is to ensure that the basic necessities are covered for the next 6-12 months while we do so. The funds generated would first go towards acquiring clothing, supplies, and beds, followed by the mitigation of added costs that our long-term home providers will incur. If the support is strong, I will begin working on the rebuilding of the home from the ground up.
Once again thank you in advance for your concerns, prayers and support during this trial.
