Hi family & friends!

I hope this finds you well. This campaign is for our dear nephew Antoine Pennington. He is a beautiful person, inside and out, and he needs our help.

His car has broken down while working & staying here with us in MI. We have worked on his car several times, fixing one thing only to have another fail, and it will not give us another inch After many hours of labor and some $$, it's time to accept that his "red rider" can go no further.

He has a great network of helpful humans around him, and I'm calling upon you all now to help this creative, funny, kind young man get some safe and reliable wheels to get back to OH and continue onto his next chapter.

He's trying to get ahead, working hard, with little pay and long hours in Ohio, while also attempting to save money for future schooling, getting his own place, and figure things out. He's on a journey of self-discovery so he took a break from there to come help us. He's been working long hours in construction with Jon, with better pay and perks than he has in OH, he is reconnecting with family, exploring, & trying so hard to get his ducks in a row.

This isn't exactly easy for him since his dad, Stephen passed away at an early age in 2016, and unfortunately, his mother isn't able to help. Even through such tragedy & uncertainty, he graduated from HS, has taken computer classes, held down multiple jobs at once, and tried to get a college education which isn't easy without involved parents or financial aid.

Having persevered through many struggles and has come out strong, intelligent, compassionate, curious, and seeking his place in this confusing and sometimes harsh world. He is a good person, staying out of trouble, and deserves a little boost.

Will you help us help him? Ideally I'd like to surprise him, but I'm not sure I can circulate this campaign online with his friends without him knowing since we don't have their contact info, so we'll see how this goes.
