Anthony’s 100th Country: A Journey of Legacy, Love, and Landings
Hi, I’m Anthony Antoine.
You might know me from my concert footage or from my clips on Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate World Cruise that went viral on TikTok. I'm a performance poet, independent recording artist, activist, and Black LGBTQ+ travel storyteller. I turn journeys into healing, advocacy into connection, and grief into purpose.
This December, I'm stepping into my most meaningful journey yet: visiting my 100th country.
Why This Milestone Matters
In 2018, I lost my beloved husband, Michael, to cancer. Before he passed, he gave me one final request:
“Lean on family. Travel the world. Let that be your healing."
So I did.
Since then, I’ve journeyed to:
- 99 countries
- All 50 U.S. states
- All 8 wonders of the world
- 30 Georgia parks
This wasn’t just travel. It became my therapy.
My survival tour.
My way of turning grief into motion.
Now I will complete the circle by visiting Nigeria - my 100th country. This is not random. I once lived in London with a Nigerian family, which gave me a deep connection to the culture. It is also my ancestral homeland. Visiting Nigeria for the first time will be a spiritual journey - one of joy, healing and homecoming.
