Support Annie's Nursery Employees Now

As many of you now know, the beloved nursery in Richmond, “Annie's Annuals and Perennials,” closed suddenly this week. This has been an emotional time for everyone in the community as it was more than just a “nursery.” It was an institution, a legacy, and a happy place.

And it was all made possible by the hardworking and dedicated employees.

Employees that found out that they would no longer be employed only the day before the closure. Employees that have families and bills.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help support these dedicated people during this transition time. To help them cover the costs of living while they figure out next steps. If you have ever enjoyed a trip to the nursery, have a plant or entire garden with Annie’s plants in them, then consider the fact that none of it would have been possible without them. They are our community members. And they need our support now.
