Support Annabelle's Fight for Her Human Rights

Every child has a human right to freely associate with loving parents. Now, my daughter's rights are under threat of being completely erased by Chinese courts if I seek help from US legal authorities or speak about my child's abduction in 2016. US officials tell me that they must recognize foreign orders, which is why it is so important for me to convince California courts to take jurisdiction now.

The facts are that my daughter Annabelle is a naturally-born US citizen, with no other citizenship, who was hidden in a Chinese village by her mother in 2016 while we were on a work trip. I have not known where she is for years, and then she turned up attending school in California, which is how I ended up in California court.

Her life hangs in the balance, and I have seen the panic on her face when she realized the great void between us on our few video calls. I have witnessed my child be stolen and done everything possible to date, and I will continue to do everything possible until I can wrap my arms around her once again. This has been an 8-year struggle, and I have exhausted my financial resources, so I continue pro se at this point.

There is a great chance for me to turn the tables in this story as I have my day in US court finally coming, and I need representation. I have a clear legal way to convince US courts to take jurisdiction and am only challenged by a lack of legal representation.

Everything that is donated will be used to help Annabelle get her human rights back and/or to bring awareness to the topic, which is needed to motivate US authorities to care about these little Americans.
