Hi friends and family!
Over the past year, during my time at Bible School in New Zealand and since coming home, I've been praying about what to do next. There are so many options and it can get overwhelming, but, as I was thinking through things that interest me and things I love, the Lord started to place the desire to do outdoor ministry on my heart. When I came home, I started looking into opportunities that would allow me to pursue this. I learned about Peak 7 through friends at church and I decided to apply! The Lord has opened up the door for me to work with Peak 7 Adventures as a guide here in Spokane this summer, and I am so excited! As a guide, I'll be helping plan, organize and lead trips. I'll also be getting to share my love for the outdoors and for Christ with the youth that will be participating in these trips.
Peak 7's mission is to empower under-resourced young people by providing challenging and meaningful adventures in the great outdoors. They do this through outdoor adventures such as white water rafting, rock climbing and backpacking. They also desire to share Christ's love with the youth that get to experience these adventures.
As a non-profit organization it is Peak 7 Adventures’ mission to provide these trips at little cost to participants. This means I get the opportunity to raise money to cover scholarships so that youth can get to go on these epic adventures, as well as my own financial support. If you feel led,I would love for you to partner with me!
You can partner with me financially by donating through this Go-Fund me or if you would like to donate directly you can either mail a check to Peak 7 (address at bottom of page) or donate online at www.peak7.org (via the Donate tab, select the fund as Anna Sproule).
You can also partner with me through prayer. Pray for Peak 7, all the staff and volunteers, and myself as we seek to glorify God and expand His kingdom this summer through outdoor adventure. Pray also for all the participants, that they would get to experience incredible adventures but also that the seeds planted through Peak 7 would take root and grow strong.
