My name is Michele, cousin to Anita Gutierrez, who is currently healing from a liver transplant at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California. She is a single mother of 5 children who need her dearly.

My cousin was found unconscious in her home and was rushed to the hospital. After numerous tests, she was told her only survival was a liver transplant as her autoimmune disease had killed her liver. This was very devastating to her children and family. She is currently recovering at Stanford Hospital, which may take up to 6-8 weeks, while her children wait in Fresno, CA, for her to come home. She has a long recovery of 1-2 years for her liver to settle into her body.
