Thank you to all who have followed our story and have prayed for Angi!

Our family has been three times blessed with heroes who have been willing to donate a kidney to better the life of another. Rene received his kidney 23 years ago from Todd Fisher. Cristina received her kidney 11 years ago from Debbie Fabian. And now we have another hero, Heath Meyer, who is donating his kidney to Angi.

For Angi, it has been just over 2 years since she was placed on the transplant list. She's had two surgeries, a summer of tedious dialysis sessions, and countless sleepless nights.

On the afternoon of Thursday, September 4th, Heath will undergo surgery to have his healthy kidney removed. It will then be transported from San Diego (where Heath lives) to Milwaukee, where Angi will have her transplant the morning of Friday, September 5th.

Angi shares, "I am beyond blessed and forever grateful to my dear 'brother from another mother,' Heath Meyer. His generous gift will put an end to the fear and anxiety that comes along with stage 5 kidney failure."

We are raising money to help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance and for lost wages for Heath and Angi.
