Susana worked for change as a part of Sisters Rising at the Young Women's Freedom Center and was also a part of many community based organizations in San Francisco and the Bay Area. We mourn the loss of this bright, fierce young woman along with her family and friends.
We are a group of friends and former coworkers of Susana from the Young Women's Freedom Center (YWFC), a San Francisco based organization working to build the leadership and collective power of young women that have been directly impacted by violence, incarceration, and life on the streets.
The funds being raised on this page are going directly to Susana's family and will be used for the care of her daughter and for family expenses related to this tragedy.
