I, along with many others, am wanting to help Anett Eichler, the Loft Dance Theater Arts selfless ballet teacher raise $12,000 for a dream trip to Africa where she has been invited as an ambassador to be educated on the culture and ways to the Maasai Community & be in support of The Sunrise Nursery & Primary School which cares for the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. Please take a few minutes to read the below description of Anett’s dream of making a difference in Africa from July 26th, 2025 through August 19th, 2025. If you have ever met this woman, you know how special she is and how much she deserves this trip. If the below story of volunteer service work resonates with your heart, we hope you will make a donation. Every dollar counts and is deeply appreciated.
Anett Eichler is someone who would never ask for help. As a private and independent woman, she gives of herself 100% all of the time. She has shared her passion and knowledge of ballet to the Reno community for over 30 years. Any extra time she has, she saves time for her daughter and cares for her rescue animals- 2 horses, 2 goats and 2 dogs. This strong, dedicated woman drives over 70 miles 4 days a week to bring her love and expertise of ballet to Loft Dance Theater Arts where she teaches children, adolescents and adults. At times, in order to make ends meet, she will clean homes to make sure that those that depend on her, are provided for. She is solely responsible to care for her home, property and animals. In order to give of herself to the communities in Africa, she will be unable to work for 3 weeks. As her friends, we hope to raise $12,000 to cover all of the expenses of this trip from vaccinations, flights, donations to the Maasai and orphanage, travel visas, accommodations, care of her home and animals while she is away so she can be fully present and safe in these communities without concern or worry to fulfill her calling.
Anett Eichler has been invited by the Chief of Amboseli location, Daniel Kanchori, to spend time with Mr. Gideon Saitabau Sinyok in the Maasai region to assist in conservation efforts, observing local wildlife, engage in education and understanding of the Maasai Community and culture. Anett has been instrumental in bringing awareness to their needs. A few years ago, along with her dance community, funds were raised to assist Mr. Gideon Saitabou Sinyok in his education which has been instrumental in his ability to aid his community. His dream of graduation will be attained later this year due to the ongoing support of this generous woman.
Through Kigezi Vima Safaris, Anett has the opportunity to observe Mountain Gorillas Tracking in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. 100% of the fees will go towards supporting her second calling, Sunrise Nursery and Primary School. Through her friendship with Mathew Biryomumeisho, the Managing Director, and his wife Rita, Anett has been accepted as a family member. The Katungu Needy and Orphan Children’s Project, (Sunrise School) was launched in 2010 to care for the destitute, orphaned and most vulnerable children of Rubanda, Kabale. Committed to protecting the lives of these children from the social and psychological problems that are too often a part of rural Uganda, this charter prepares every child in their care for their next step to higher education and technical studies. Sadly, these children have been deprived of parental support due to different reasons like death of their parents, homelessness, joblessness, broken families and those who can't afford the expensive education system of Uganda. Sunrise School, with the expansion and construction of new dormitories, expects to serve and accommodate over 350 vulnerable children who rely solely on this organization to provide them with food, education, medication and their basic necessities; including water and shelter.
