Hi, I'm Joshua Bisset one of the founders and directors of Andy Arts in Detroit. Over the last 9 years we have been working to establish Andy Arts as a dynamic artist run creative space. Today we have hundreds of artists each year who engage Andy Arts through rehearsal, content creation, performance and much more.

Last Monday night we suffered a major robbery when thieves entered our building by breaking through our studio door. They stole our studio audio equipment, outdoor maintenance tools and many of our construction tools. They also damaged our locks.

This is a call to our extended communities for support. We need to immediately replace our audio equipment, lawn mover, weed wacker and some of our construction tools, such as concrete drills and wood saws. We also have significant new expenses to secure the building including increased lights, different entrance systems and additional outdoor cameras. Would you consider chipping in to help us get back up and running safely? Any amount would help as we recover from this.

Some of the immediate costs we have are as follows:

Studio Audio equipment: $1200

Lawn mover: $450

Weed Wacker: $250

Drills and saw: $550

Exterior cameras and lighting: $450

Electronic entrance system: $2750
