Help Andy recover after the Rowena Fires
On the night of June 11th, tragedy struck our family and community. My father-in-law, Andy, lost his beloved home of 25 years in the Rowena wildfires. It was one of the first homes to be completely consumed by the flames.
Andy poured his heart into that land — a master gardener, he nurtured fruit trees and a huge garden, including apple, cherry, and peach, honey bees, and the most beautiful flowers you could imagine. He created a thriving, peaceful haven that he lovingly shared with others. That sanctuary is now gone.
Andy also provided housing for three renters on his property. All three families lost their homes in the fire. It’s not just one home lost — it’s four families displaced, facing the devastating aftermath of this disaster.
Now retired, Andy relied heavily on his rental income to support himself. While we are hopeful that insurance will help in time, the process is slow, and the immediate needs are overwhelming — for housing, basic essentials, and beginning the long road to rebuild.
We are asking for help to support Andy during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly to helping him find temporary shelter, replace daily necessities, and start planning for the future.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
With gratitude,
The Miles Family
