Support Andrew's Journey to Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Training

Help send Andrew Stankevich to the 9/15-10/5 residential Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Training in Boone, NC! Some time ago, Andrew suffered a mental breakdown, and became incapacitated due to severe mental illness (SMI) and drug dependency for many years until taking the Art of Living Part 1 course in May 2020.

After a judge ruled that he was completely unable to work due to SMI, Andrew receives small monthly disability payments through the Social Security Administration. Due to his rehabilitation through Art of Living, Andrew recently began working part-time, but is unable to afford the full amount for the in-person Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Training. Unfortunately, due to his current living situation, Andrew cannot take this program online at the lower cost.

A unique requirement for him, before fulfilling his dream of becoming an Art of Living Part 1 teacher, Andrew must first become a Sri Sri Yoga teacher. After becoming consistent with his meditation and kriya, Andrew trained himself to do his daily practice in vajrasana and half lotus, but needs to improve his health and lose weight through the Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Training.

An enthusiastic seva warrior, Andrew regularly arranges outreach presentations, and even performed garba during the World Culture Festival. Notably, Andrew arranged for himself and other Art of Living members to lead most of the Sunday morning worship service at a local church with bhajans, speaking, pranayamas and meditation.
