Happy 34th Birthday Andre! YOU ARE LOVED!

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
This year has been incredibly challenging for Andre Columbus. In March, while walking, Andre was tragically struck by an uninsured motorist in a hit-and-run accident. The crash left him with a traumatic brain injury, multiple broken bones, and an amputation. He is on a mechanical ventilator 24 hours a day, demanding extensive treatment around the clock. Over the past eight months, Andre has been in and out of hospitals, bravely fighting through surgeries, therapies, and setbacks.
We are thrilled to share that Andre is now able to return home to Fayetteville, just in time for the holidays! This milestone means he can continue his healing process surrounded by his family, friends, and his loyal German Shepherd, Captain Columbus, who has been patiently waiting to welcome him back.
About Andre
Andre has called Fayetteville home since 1999. A proud graduate of Fayette County High School’s Class of 2009, he earned a football scholarship to Lincoln University before continuing his education at Albany State, where he pursued his passion for acting and stand-up comedy. In 2019, Andre enlisted in the US Army, serving in Alaska, where he found another family in his fellow soldiers. His military family has been a vital support system during this critical time, offering encouragement and love when he’s needed it most.
Why We Need Your Help
Andre’s medical journey is far from over. While he’s made remarkable progress, the costs associated with his care, compounded by the financial strain of the accident, have become overwhelming.
We’re asking for your help to give Andre the best chance at recovery. Your donations will go directly toward:
• A generator to power the mechanical ventilator in case of a power outage
• Medical equipment to assist with mobility and recovery
• Modifications to his home for accessibility
How You Can Help
If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign and spreading the word would mean the world to us. Thank you for your support!
