Dearest Community members,

Let me share the condensed story of Anas, a 9 year old boy who has endured more than most his age. Anas is a survivor of the ongoing genocide taking place in G@z@. At the age of 6 he was struck in a bombing causing his Tibia to completely break and shatter , leaving him seriously wounded. Months later Anas suffered another enormous loss, but this time it was not to his body but rather it was his beloved father.

My family and I have been blessed with an opportunity to care for Anas while he receives life changing treatment here in California, before being relocated to another country. Anas brings love and laughter into any room he enters. He immediately makes you fall in love with his pure smile and playful personality. He is always full of energy and wants to be like other kids playing sports and going to school.
