Hello! My name is Ana and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents. We were recently informed that my mom will need to undergo open heart surgery and she has been referred to Stanford Medical Center for this procedure. We live about 4 hours away from Stanford and her surgery will require her to stay in the hospital for up to a week and a half, if not more. As such, my dad will be wanting to stay with her during this time. However, he will need funds to pay for a hotel, food, gas, etc. He is the only one working as well and this will require him to take time off of work to be with my mom, causing a bit of a financial hardship for them. The goal is to raise enough money for my dad to be able to stay with my mom and not have to stress about money while there or after due to missing work. If you could please help in any way that you can, I know my parents, sister, and I would greatly appreciate it.
