Hi everyone,
My name is Eliana Hermosilla and I'm reaching out for support on behalf of my wife Ana, who is currently being held in an ICE detention center in South Louisiana since Sept 09, 2025. She was transferred from Florida to a facility in Texas to be processed then ended up in Lousiana, which has made everything even more difficult for us emotionally and financially.

I am urgently raising funds to hire an Federal State attorney to help bring her back home where she belongs with me, her family, and even our pets who miss her deeply.

My wife Ana came to the U.S. at the age of 18 to escape the harsh living conditions in Cuba. Since then, she’s built a life here as a hardworking, kind, and compassionate person. She’s never been a harm to anyone in fact, she’s the kind of person who lights up a room, always willing to help, support, and care for those around her, including me.

Right now, I’m going through financial hardship. I recently was released from my work contract as a COTA in a pediatrics clinic due to several medical intervensipns. As I'm the only source of income with Ana gone. Covering legal costs, commissary and phone calls for Ana on my own is overwhelming, but I’m full of hope that she will come back home, where she’s truly meant to be.

She deserves to stay in the country she now calls home, surrounded by the people (and pets) who love her.
