We are fundraising on behalf of Ana, who is facing an unimaginable tragedy while already battling serious health issues.

Last weekend, Ana’s husband, Ricardo, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Ricardo showed no signs of illness. He was always the strong one the person who took Ana to all her dialysis treatments, cared for her daily needs, and supported her through every step of her health journey.

On the day of the tragedy, Ricardo told Ana he would be taking her to visit her children. When he didn’t arrive, family and friends began searching for him. He was found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered that he had suffered a severe brain attack caused by a clot near his heart. They performed emergency surgery, but despite their efforts, Ricardo did not make it.

In the midst of her own illness, Ana had to face the heartbreaking news that her partner, her support system, and her caretaker was gone.

Doctors informed Ana that Ricardo’s organs were compatible with her and could potentially help her battle the illness she has been fighting for so long.
