Good morning, afternoon, and night,

My father was taken into ice custody going into a job he was pre-approved for and had passed his background. My dad has his work authorization card, a social security card, filed taxes every year, and has gone to this job site before. He has worked government buildings, passed background to work at prison, schools, and more for his union as he has an ongoing case for his residency but after passing his first check point at his work site 6-2-25 at the second was held for 3 hrs when all of the sudden ice came and detained him just trying to go to work. He was fighting and working and always there for us with all the ups and downs our imperfect family has had. He remains strong for us smiling and checking up on us instead of the inverse because that’s the kind of man he is even given his current circumstances. This took a lot for us to be able to share as we are all prideful and wanted to fight this battle ourselves and be there for him in these times on our own merits. Life has shown us that we can’t just fight on our own but with the faith, love, and support of the rest of the world has to offer as well.
