Support Amy's Family: Recover from Hurricane

Hello! I’m Amy’s daughter, Jenna. My beautiful mother and her husband have had a devastating experience with this hurricane that hit in Florida. My mom, stepdad, and grandma were visiting me in Oregon for my wedding, and when they returned to Tampa, they discovered both their cars were totaled and their home was unlivable. They lost everything in their home to the floods. I’ve made this GoFundMe in hopes of raising some money for my mother to not have to think about rent money for a few months while they live out of a hotel or Airbnb. My mother is an incredibly selfless woman who has been taking care of her 87-year-old mom for the last 7+ years. So not only are she and her equally awesome husband working on keeping themselves safe, they’re doing everything they can to make sure my grandma is in the safest and most comfortable space. I’ve never seen or heard my mom feel so defeated. We are so incredibly grateful that everyone is healthy and safe, but it’s emotionally and physically exhausting dealing with everything. To anyone who is in a place to financially help, we are more than grateful. Thank you so much.

Update: Everyone is safe and healthy post hurricane milton. My mom is working on getting her business back up and running. The outside of the AC unit was ripped off during Hurricane Milton which resulted in water coming into her salon. She has to get a new AC unit and redo some paneling along the bottom of the walls.
