Support Amy in her time of need
Donation protected
Amy Seifert is a one of a kind woman. She is the manager of one of the Goodwill's in the Peoria area. However, Amy is so much more than that to everyone she has encountered. She has a heart of gold, although she is pretty stubborn. She will always get her way in the long run, and typically doesn't liked to be told no, at least in my opinion as her boss ;). Her family is the most important thing to her and loves sharing stories of her kids and grandkids with everyone. She works...to go to the mountains and be where she loved with the people she loved.
Amy recently received a very bleak diagnosis. Her life changed in an instant and has rapidly changed for everyone she encounters. In December, just before Christmas, Amy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Since then it has been a whirlwind for Amy and her family trying to make the best decisions for Amy's future. After 1 round of chemo Amy was exhausted and barely able to muster enough energy to respond to texts or calls of support she had been receiving. Then on top of cancer, on 1/19/2025 she had a stroke. Amy's health in the past 30 days has quite literally been everything but the kitchen sink thrown at it.
Amy is in hospice care in Peoria, she is comfortable and surrounded by her family.
With all of this being said, the day to day still keeps coming in for her family. Bills, bills, bills. While all are gainfully employed, they have all taken time off to spend with their mom, memaw, or wife while she is still here with them. This has left quite a strain, and that is where this Gofundme comes in. Anything helps. Please consider any amount to donate to Amy and her family.
