Support & Love for Z's Catfish in Rockwall
Around 2am on Friday, June 19th something terrible happened at Z's Catfish in Rockwall, destroying two outer glass walls and damaging the structure of the restaurant. As of this time it is unknown if the act was accidental or intentional, however nothing else was damaged or stolen from inside of the restaurant.
The owners were informed very early this morning that there was damage, and upon arrival the owners discovered the heartbreaking damage. Owner Zora Wesley was in tears, seeing her beloved business damaged.
Concerned members of the community saw the damage reported on Facebook and wanted to assist in efforts. I came here to Z's Catfish personally to see what could be done to assist in the effort. There were already many members of the community here with brooms helping the cleanup effort.
As of this time Zora does not know what the situation will end up being with insurance, deductibles or her expenses. She is praying that this will not cause a major disruption in her business. She is overwhelmed with emotion.
100% of the proceeds raised by this GoFundMe will transparently be given to Zora Wesley and Z's Catfish to aid in reconstruction efforts, assist in renovation as needed and provide relief for any lost sales caused as a result of the damage.
